Notions Mangosteen
Ingredients
About the size of a tangerine, the ripe mangosteen
has a smooth, dark purple rind encasing snow-white fruit.
Unlike other tropical fruits that are so unusual and obscure
that eating them requires an "acquired taste,"
mangosteen has a sweet, mild flavor that appeals to everyone,
beginning with the first bite.
Limited to tropical zones with abundant rainfall, the mangosteen
tree takes 10 years to mature and bear fruit. Fully mature
trees can be up to 80 feet tall, and may produce thousands
of individual fruits each year.
Science has identified approximately 200 different Xanthones.
The Mangosteen has an amazing
43 just by itself, including some of the most dynamic Xanthones
yet studied. There are other herbs and plants, such as St.
John's Wort, which might contain one or two Xanthones...
but nothing compares with the quantity and vibrancy of Xanthones
in Mangosteen.
Taking mangosteen daily will
give you all the benefits with no side effects.

Raspberries have been shown
to inhibit the production of COX-I and COX-II enzymes. Anti-inflammatory
products like ibuprofen and aspirin, inhibit COX-I and COX-II

antioxidants, including anthocyanins and acid. Modern studies
have shown that just 2 ounces of pomegranate juice daily

Elderberry helps eliminate
toxic stagnations that are typically the home for infectious
bacteria. The antibiotic, antiviral and antibacterial properties
